The first suburbs for the West Belconnen and
Parkwood development will be named
Macnamara and Strathnairn. The Strathnairn area
is adjacent to Holt and West Macgregor, next to
the West Belconnen tip and extending close to
Ginninderra Falls. The Strathnairn development
will also include retail and community
infrastructure. The suburb of Strathnairn is named
after the historical homestead that is located in
the first stage of the development area.
